Sega confirmed today more details about work on a new Bizarre Creations title. With May now gone we’re used to mountains of fresh juicy info. The truth is with E3 now in July, May just may become the slowest month of the year for any sort of info. Nevertheless, Sega did throw out some details today.
Both Sega of America and Sega of Europe confirmed today that music composer Richard Jacques has been chosen along with two other composers to work on a new Bizarre Creations title. Currently scheduled for release in late 2007, and titled “The Club” the title is looking promising.
It comes as no surprise as Richard Jacques is no stranger to Bizarre Creations. Jacques formerly worked with Bizarre on a Dreamcast title known as Metropolis Street Racer, which later lead way to the much more famous PGR. Richard is also known for his previous work on other Sega hits like Headhunter, Jet Set Radio and Outrun 2 to name a few.
"I am delighted to be working with SEGA and Bizarre Creations once again” stated Richard. “Having previously worked on the music and sound design of the genre defining Metropolis Street Racer, I was extremely pleased to be chosen to provide tracks for The Club. SEGA and Bizarre Creations have a sure fire hit on their hands and it's great to be a part of it."
The Club is currently set to hit both Microsoft’s Xbox 360, and Sony’s Playstation 3 this coming holiday season. Expect DcD to deliver more details as E3 rolls around, if it ever does roll around.
